The Joint Committee of Surrey County Council and Guildford Borough Council have reviewed a report on Town Centre Pollution. The Committee agreed that to meet legislative requirements it is necessary to declare an ‘air quality management area’ (AQMA) where a breach of the air quality standard has occurred.
The area designated covers an area for a pollutant nitrogen dioxide within the area and roads indicated. See Map at foot of post.
