The Environment Agency, Guildford Borough Council and Surrey County Council are working together to develop a scheme to reduce flood risk to homes, businesses, and infrastructure in Guildford town centre. The scheme will also improve the natural environment and build better connections between Guildford town centre and the River Wey. The Scheme covers Surface Flooding caused by rainfall and Fluvial Flooding caused by the Wey. The Area covered stretches along the Wey from Millbrook to Ladymead and surrounding Town
There will be a drop-in event to share an update on progress and the work done since the last event. Several members of the Environment Agency project team will be there to answer questions and you will be able to provide feedback.
