Portland Capital the owners of the Riverside Business Centre on Walnut Tree Close are starting a consultation on their plans to redevelop the site to provide, in their words, “a new integrated neighbourhood, providing a mix of sustainable housing, enhancing connectivity between the town, University and Wey-side Path and creating long-term community outdoor spaces”. Preliminary information is that the site will provide mainly Flats and Student Accommodation.
The Developers have acquired extra land to provide a flood egress route. This needs to be considered alongside the plans being presented by the Environment Agency on the 18th April - See Link Below.
